California artist David Heston’s personality is reflected in his bold contemporary designs.  His work designed for both men and woman is showcased throughout the United States in high end galleries, boutiques and fine department stores such as Neiman Marcus. Having founded Heston Designs over 18 years ago in Los Angeles, David has steadily grown his business and number of “junkies.”

His original works are a daring mix of sterling silver, 18k gold, rubber, diamonds, and colored stones.  A former sculpture Heston shares, “Jewelry has endless possibilities of shapes and forms, like sculpture.  I’m seduced by the medium.” 

He applies an architect’s approach when constructing his wearable art.  I push myself to create more beautiful forms that flow and move with balance.  “My work from all angles is designed for the discriminating,” shares Heston.

His works are worn by celebrities including Eddie Murphy, John Lithgow, Janet Jackson, Diana Ross, Rene Russo, Cedric the Entertainer and baseball great, Ken Griffey Jr.

Holding a B.A. degree in Fine Arts from the University of Arizona and a Graduate Gemology Degree from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Heston’s designs continue to redefine cutting edge style.  “I attempt to strike the perfect balance between bold and sculptural.”

I gather inspiration from all works of art both classical and modern, but my style is truly my own.  I hope I will be able to evolve and surprise for the next 50 years. With lifestyle in mind David’s jewelry is meant to be worn all the time, transitioning from casual to formal wear with ease.
